As you all know, we like to share, support, and encourage one another here, at AngelicaKimberly. One way we do this is during our Tea Time.

This is an opportunity for you to express yourself, tell us about your week, and receive the encouragement and support you may need.

So I’ll go first! :)

~ My Reflections from this week ~

  1. Consistency is key. When starting out on a new venture I can sometimes get way too excited then drain myself before starting any “real work.” :) I’ve learned this about myself and am learning how to spread out my excitement to get more work done vs. having no excitement at all.
  2. I have to be honest and open – it’s ok. In my recent post about where I am on my journey, I shared some very personal details and intimacies of my life and my family. I wouldn’t normally share such information on a large platform. (I am a VERY private person.) However, I received lots of feedback from other women who are on this journey with me or who are contemplating taking the first step toward Momprenership. Sometimes you have to just put yourself out there, without any fear. You never know who needs you to be YOU!
  3. Stay balanced. While I journey from the corporate office to the comfort of my home, I’m having to be intentional about creating balance. Making this commitment and taking steps of faith means working extremely efficiently at work, so I can work (again) at home. In all of this, I want to be sure I am honoring my husband and family by spending quality time with them and continuing to build our relationship, as a family.

What about you?

As you reflect about this week, is there anything that stands out to you?

Share with us!

As I posted in an earlier post, Afternoon tea is a time for ladies to gather; enjoy a cup (or two) of tea; indulge in savories and sweets; and chat about their lives. It is a way to bond with one another and reconnect with the lady inside of us all!

Here, on AngelicaKimberly, my vision is to create a safe place for all of my Mompreneurs to express yourselves and share your progress with your home business. Every Friday at noon, we’ll have Afternoon Tea.

I really want you to take the time to reflect on your week. Think about your successes, fallacies, and hiccups. :) Share your experiences, so we can get to know you. In return, you’ll receive support, encouragement, and a advice.

The whole idea is for each of us to reflect on our businesses and reach out to one another for support and love – or a hug if you need one. :)

So, here are my reflections from this week:

  1. Sometimes you have to dig in deeper within yourself than you could have possible imagined. This week has been interesting to say the least. My business is steadily growing, but I’ve also experienced quite a few hiccups. So I’ve had to dig in and discover some new things about myself and realize the areas I need to grow in.
  2. Now that www.AngelicaKimberly.com has officially launched, I’m busier than EVER! In my attempt to share my journey with you Ladies and offer a place of support for all the Mompreneurs, who have reached out, I sometimes get a bit overwhelmed with the task at hand. This is when I have to go to my quiet place, pray, seek the Lord, and allow him to give me all that I need. In turn, I get to give you MY ABSOLUTE BEST!
  3. Retreat. I need a retreat with just the Hubs and I. It’s been forever, since we’ve gotten away with just the two of us. This weekend, we are attending a marriage mini-conference hosted by the wonderful couple, Kevin and Cetelia Bullard over at Marriage Works! I think this will be a good time for us to reflect on our marriage and seek the Lord on how we can purposely fulfill God’s desire for us as a couple. I’m excited! I’m super excited that the kiddos will be elsewhere – yet in good hands! :)

There you have it!

Take the time to post your reflections from this week. Please, don’t be shy to reach out. :)

Come along inside… We’ll see if tea and buns can make the world a better place.
~The Wind in the Willow~

I spent many years, as a child, living in Germany and traveling all over Europe. I love that continent. I really do!:)

One of the things I learned much about was afternoon tea, High tea, and other tea societies and social gathering that are native to the locals.

Afternoon tea is a time for ladies to gather; enjoy a cup (or two) of tea; indulge in savories and sweets; and chat about their lives. It is a way to bond with one another and reconnect with the lady inside of us all!

So, here are my reflections from this week:

  1. Being a home business owner is a lot of work! It takes a lot of effort, tenacity, and in my case – do-overs.
  2. I’ve been working hard at preparing this blog for my Mompreneurs and I’ve learned so much about myself. I’ve even rediscovered my love for writing and expressing my thoughts with words.
  3. Sleep. This is something I desprately need! I’ve been working super, duper hard this week and I’ve neglected some much needed rest. The sad part is, I don’t see me getting any this weekend. “This will pay off” – is what I keep telling myself.

There you have it! Take the time to post your reflections below. Please, don’t be shy to reach out. :)
