The Lessons in the Rain

 Source

 Happy Monday, Mompreneurs!

It’s raining here in NC and it has been doing so seemingly nonstop for a few days now. I’m always in a wonder of God’s majestic splendor after the rain. It’s like everything is it’s greenest green, it’s pinkest pink, the trees stand tall, and the flowers salute with a bloom.

Everything is sssooo refreshed and new!

This reminds me of Deuteronomy 32:1-2:

Listen, you heavens, and I will speak;
hear, you earth, the words of my mouth.
Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants.

God is constantly teaching us something and he wants it to refresh us and make us new again and again. Whether he’s teaching us something about us personally or about our businesses, it’s all to recreate us and give us much needed refreshing.

I hope you rely upon the rain of the heavens to refresh you and teach you all the lessons you need for success in your business and life. It’s this refreshing rain that will allow you to experience growth.

Father I pray for each woman and mom reading this. I pray that she knows just how special she is to you. So much so that you bring rain into her life as a sign of a season of teaching and refreshing.

Refresh her mind.

Refresh her heart.

Refresh her business.

Refresh her life.

Surround her with teachers who will give her the lessons she needs to grow in You.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A New Thing – A Refreshed Vision

Hi there, Mompreneurs!

I know it’s been a while since I posted anything on here. Honestly, I hit a mental road block and I was trying to decide exactly what the Lord wanted this blog to be and what “the plan” was.

I soon discovered that He wanted to do a ‘New Thing’ in me and my life. So I paused, revaluated things, and took the time to seek Him.

I’m excited because I’m going to be able to bring you all kinds of great content, helpful resources, and the things you need as you take your journey, as a mompreneur. It will be wholeheartedly reflected in my journey, so I’m SUPER EXCITED because I get to be more authentic than ever before. :)

If you are in a place of wondering what God is doing and what your next move should be, take hope in knowing that He is doing a ‘New Thing’ and all you have to do is seek Him, trust Him, and follow Him.

~My Prayer for you this week~

Father, I thank you for each woman reading this.

I thank you that her life has be beautifully designed and handcrafted by you.

For those that are seeking a deeper understanding of their life’s purpose, pursuits, and passions, I pray you bring clarity and insight to the vision you’ve given her. If she lacks vision, Father I ask that you give her vision. For your word says that without a vision, the people perish. I have no desire than any dream that lives within her perishes, so I ask for vivid vision, intrinsic insight, and deepend dreams.

Father, most of all I ask that you continue to do a ‘New Thing’ in her life. Show her the beauty in a journey that comes with only trusting you, with wholehearted devotion. May she cling to the resolve that you are in control of very aspect of her life and this ‘New Thing’ is indeed a good thing.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dream Again!

Dream Again - AngelicaKimberly

Lately I’ve felt like I was just going through the motions and not really treading any ground in certain areas of my life. Usually when that happens, I stop all efforts because I’m trying to re-evaluate things to see if I’m doing the “right stuff” and not wasting my time or energy. However, sometimes I get stuck at the ‘stop sign’ and forget that I do have the ‘right-of-way.’

The Hubs and I have spent the last several weeks, up late at night talking, reminiscing, and dreaming again. Some of our old dreams have being revived and we’re finding ourselves dreaming new dreams and looking again with a hopeful perspective. It’s been very cathartic and bonding!

This “dream revival” is giving me a new sense of hope and expectation of God’s promises and their ultimate fulfillment in my life and that of my family. Dreams can revive us in inexplicable ways that only the Lord’s handiwork can accomplish.

So when things in your life seem out-of-sorts and you can’t quite get your footing, just know it’s ok to pause for just a moment while you gather yourself. In that gathering of yourself, be sure you are using that opportunity to dream (again) and allow those dreams to give new life to your heart!

~ My prayer for you this week ~

Heavenly Father, I pray for each woman who is reading this article.

I ask that you allow old dreams to be revived and new dreams to spring forward!

Give her the courage, faith, and ambition to pursue you in fulfilling her dreams.

Make her heart twinkle with the promise of hope fulfilled in you.

In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
